Tarik Đođić, Managing Director of Al Jazeera Balkans, was born in 1966. He graduated in Law from the University of Sarajevo, and is working on his MA degree from the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Economy, Department of International Economy.
Đođić held several managing positions in the private sector, both in regional and global companies, prior to becoming Chief of Staff of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Prime Minister’s Office.
He also served as Advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director of the International Economic Cooperation Sector – Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Secretary General of Chamber of Commerce / Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Đođić is fluent in English and Russian and speaks German and Turkish. He is the Chairman of NGO Association "Halal Europe" and a Member of the Hajj Committee in Bosnia & Herzegovina, as well as a member of the Assembly of EURO Chamber.
